Inspired by the artist's reflections on the guidance of her mother, The Voice Within explores the delicate balance between receiving advice and discovering one's own path. Expressive line work, layered forms, and bold colour create a visual conversation between influence, identity, and independence. The small geometric forms marked with red dots symbolise a doorway and window—representing the longing to escape expectations, find freedom, and embrace one's own voice. Ultimately, the work reminds us that while guidance shapes us, growth begins when we have the courage to step beyond what is familiar.
