Where I Belong explores the relationship between identity and place, reflecting how the cities we experience and the memories we create become part of who we are. Layers of urban imagery, architecture, and East Asian cultural references are woven into the silhouette, symbolising the journeys, encounters, and moments that shape our sense of self. Through expressive colour, collage, and mark-making, the work invites viewers to reflect on the places that have left a lasting imprint and the experiences that ultimately lead us to where we belong.
